One of the biggest “don Juan’s” in Hollywood and a favorite of women is Brad. Turns out that through life he wasn’t so happy as he managed to hide his pain with his adorable smile.
As 90’s were close to ending, Brad had an interview for “Hollywood Reporter” where he pointed out how he was struggling depression. Pitt said that at the moment he couldn’t bear with being famous so he turned to drugs as an escape.
“I got really sick of myself at the end of the 1990s: I was hiding out from the celebrity thing; I was smoking way too much dope; I was sitting on the couch and just turning into a doughnut; and I really got irritated with myself,” he says.
“This semester I was majoring in depression. I was doing the same thing every night and numbing myself to sleep, the same routine. Couldn’t wait to get home and hide out. But that feeling of unease was growing and one night I just said,”This is a waste.'” – Brad says.
Definitely we can come to the conclusion that fame is not equal to happiness. It is a long process of adaptation and acceptance of everything new that is coming into our life. Running away from problems and jumping into new ones is certainly not helping because at the end of a day you realise that maybe you can run from them, but you can never run away from yourself.
Some famous people are actually winners at the end of this battle, while, unfortunately, some of them lose this “game”. They refuse to look for help. They close up to their family and friends.. Separate from the world. They lose themselves.
